Hike Details
The trail begins behind the informational signs at the parking area.
Take the dirt path heading up the hill to the tracksite. About ½ way up the trail turns to slickrock, but is very well marked with rocks on both sides clearing defining the path.
At the top of the trail you’ll find the dinosaur tracks. There are informational signs describing the dinosaurs and tracks that can be seen in the tracksite.
It was really fun to read the signs and explore the tracks before heading back down. Plus the view from the top was pretty nice.
Why is this hike easy?
The hike up to the dinosaur tracks is a steady incline, but really short at only 0.15 miles. At the top of the hill, the tracksite is relatively flat.
